Where am I from: Born and raised in Burlington, Vermont...Parents are both from India...and I now go to school in Daytona Beach, FL at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. just finished my Aerospace Engineering degree and now I am going for a Masters in Mechanical Engineering.

When did I start modeling: I started modeling about three years ago when my friend Nick Berry loved my pictures and told me to post them on ModelMayhem.

Do you have any interesting diet and/or exercise techniques? I love to workout at the gym at school. For me it is more of a time to relax and focus myself. It is almost more meditative than work. I love doing full body techniques..makes me feel more accomplished. Running hills is another important aspect of my fitness. it builds power in the legs and keeps me lean.

Dhaval is of Indian origin, right? Has your heritage made a difference in your success as a model? OH YES! I first thought that being Indian would hurt me in the modeling industry since most of the guys I saw were White with blue or green eyes. I now know that the Indian card helps me have an edge over a lot of other models. I not only bring a different look to the table but also a whole different culture and set of ideas.

An Indian friend told me Dhaval means "dazzling" in Sanskrit. Is this correct? If so, may I call attention to this? It provides a great tie-in because your pictures are so dazzling...it is funny! I did not know that! haha I looked it up and yes indeed that is the meaning! your are more than welcome to use that! smile

What are your goals in modeling? I have never really had any sort of goals when it comes to modeling. I have always loved doing it and am extremely passionate about my work. The most important thing for me is to have fun and enjoy conquering the challenges set in front of me. My Goal for modeling is simple..to push the envelope, to evolve and grow, to be the best model I can be and to never look back. I do this because it makes me happy and allows me to be the spontaneous creature I am. It also is a great balance to my structured life as an engineer.

What are your goals outside of modeling? outside of modeling, I am an engineering student, but it is interesting to note that my true passion is business. I want to become the next Donald Trump. It is not even a want, it is more of a need, I have always had very expensive taste when it comes to material things. I know that money and objects can not provide me the ultimate happiness I am looking for, but they sure do help put a smile on my face. I what the millions of dollar yacht, the private jet and the huge mansion. I do want to be rich like everyone else! The most important thing for me is to find people and also that one guy that shares the same ambition, drive, and outlook on life as me.

I am a amertuer model as well as an artist doing my MFA in sculpture so I have seen both ends. I like to make work and be part of other artist creative works. I am very comfortable with my body and open to any modeling kinds.
